West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has confirmed that the IDR 250 million reward offered for the capture of Taufik Hidayat, the perpetrator of the assault and confinement of Yuvita Tri Rezeki, has concluded. Following the suspect’s arrest by the police, the governor stated that the funds would now be given to the victim. ‘To all netizens, wherever you are, we announce that the reward for anyone who found the perpetrator of the brutality against Vita has ended. After the perpetrator was arrested by the police, the money will be given to the victim,’ he said via Instagram on Friday (26/6/2026). The governor, popularly known as KDM, said he had coordinated with West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan, who suggested the money be handed over to the victim’s family. He stated that he would hand over a deposit certificate worth IDR 250 million. ‘Coinciding with Bhayangkara Day on 1 July, we will hand over the deposit certificate at Bank Jabar,’ he said. The former Purwakarta Regent thanked all parties who moved quickly to uncover the case and expressed hope that similar incidents would not happen again. ‘I thank the West Java Regional Police for making the arrest so quickly,’ he said.
