West Java Governor Hands Over Assistance to Landslide Victims in Cibogo Village, Lembang
West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has given assistance of Rp10 million per family to the victims of the landslide in Cibogo Village, Lembang Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency. In addition to providing financial aid, the governor is also preparing houses for the relocation of the landslide victims. “The residents affected by the disaster in May 2025 are being prepared with houses because there were five houses that were hit by the landslide and they are now homeless,” said Dedi Mulyadi yesterday. Currently, the land that will be used for building the houses is being prepared. The governor has instructed the village head to find that land. So far, the affected residents have been staying in other people’s houses or renting houses. In addition to providing assistance to residents affected by the landslide, Dedi also gave “kadeudeuh” money to the owners of jongko along the Subang tourist route, especially those in Cilumber RW 04, 07 and Cilumber RW 12 as well as jongko Ciburial RW 01 with varying amounts. “We clean it up first. We give an example starting from Subang. Later it will continue to Ledeng and the number could be hundreds,” he added.
