West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi Seeks Inter-Institutional Synergy with High Prosecutor's Office to Prevent Early Irregularities

Bandung (ANTARA) - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi has stated that inter-agency synergy with the West Java High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati Jabar) is essential to prevent irregularities at an early stage.

In a statement in Bandung on Thursday, Dedi emphasised that the key to achieving optimal public services lies in strengthening synergy and harmonising government agencies across all levels.

“We are maintaining inter-agency synergy as implemented in previous years. We are focusing on acceleration, support, and the mitigation of any irregularities from the outset,” said Dedi, in response to the handover ceremony for the new Head of the West Java High Prosecutor’s Office.

Strong synergy is expected to create clean and responsive governance.

Sutikno officially assumed office as the Head of the West Java High Prosecutor’s Office on 29 April 2026, replacing Hermon Dekristo, who received a promotion to Secretary of the Junior Attorney General for Military Crimes (Sesjampidmil).

“I hope Mr Hermon serves as a bridge for the Provincial Government to build harmonious relationships between provincial, regency, and municipal governments with the central government and the ranks of the TNI/Polri (Indonesian National Armed Forces and National Police),” said KDM.

To support the creation of impactful synergy, the Prosecutor’s Office is committed to taking a proactive role in providing regulatory oversight to local governments.

“The Prosecutor’s Office will provide legal opinions, even without being requested, regarding certain matters that will have a positive impact on the local government,” said Sutimentho.
