West Java Education Agency Reminds PCMB Confirmation Deadline is 14 June at 23:59
Bandung (ANTARA) - The West Java Education Office (Disdik Jabar) has reminded prospective new students and parents to promptly confirm the results of the 2026 New Student Mapping (PCMB) before the deadline expires on Sunday (14/6) at 23:59 WIB.
“The deadline for confirming PCMB results is 14 June 2026 at 23:59 WIB. Please proceed with the confirmation of PCMB results through your respective accounts,” stated Disdik Jabar in a notice on its official website.
The Head of Disdik Jabar, Purwanto, requested that parents and prospective students carefully check their passing status on their PCMB 2026 accounts to avoid administrative errors.
He also explained the status of prospective students whose PCMB accounts only display a dash (-) without a ranking. Regarding the passing quota, if the ranking status on the account still shows a dash (-) by the end of the ranking period, it means the prospective student has not been included within the quota, Purwanto said in Bandung on Sunday.
He explained that the digital registration system, accessible via spmb.jabarprov.go.id, provides participants with the option to accept or reject the mapping results through three stages of electronic confirmation. Disdik Jabar warned that the option selected by users in the system will immediately and permanently lock the student’s passing status.
“We remind you that the decision to accept or reject these mapping results is final and binding, so prospective students are expected to consider their choices carefully,” he said.
According to Purwanto, applicants declared successful within the quota who choose to accept the PCMB results are required to immediately undergo the physical re-registration procedure in accordance with the schedule for New Student Admission System (SPMB) Stage 1 and Stage 2.
Conversely, for participants who decide to reject the results because they do not meet expectations, the system will immediately direct them to educational options outside of public schools. “Meanwhile, prospective new students who reject the mapping results can immediately change their choice to private schools or Madrasah Aliyah (MA), or participate in SPMB Stage 2 if quotas remain available after all queued mapping data has been accommodated,” Purwanto added.
He warned of the consequences for parents who do not select either an agreement or a rejection of the mapping results. Their data will remain recorded in the system until the end of the Stage 1 re-registration period. “If they do not complete re-registration by the specified deadline, the prospective new student will be declared unregistered or disqualified,” said Purwanto.
If this occurs, he noted, any remaining vacant quotas will be automatically reallocated by the system to admit prospective students on the Stage 2 waiting list. Disdik Jabar stated that the entire mapping process is conducted digitally without requiring citizens to queue at schools and without any collection of fees.
