West Java DPRD Secretary Inaugurates PWRI Board for 2026–2031 Term
The Secretary of the West Java Provincial DPRD, Dodi Sukmayana, inaugurated the board of the Persatuan Wredatama Republik Indonesia (PWRI) for the West Java DPRD Secretariat for the 2026–2031 term. The inauguration ceremony took place on the rooftop of the West Java DPRD Building in Bandung on Monday (20/4/2026).
Dodi stressed that this inauguration is not merely a ceremony, but a meaningful moment to reweave ties of brotherhood and strengthen familial bonds. Furthermore, the event serves as a space to revive the spirit of dedication that remains alive even after entering retirement.
According to him, PWRI, as a forum for retirees, plays a noble role in the long journey of the West Java DPRD Secretariat. The experience, dedication, and service of the seniors form a strong foundation for the current generation of civil servants continuing the relay of duties.
“We fully realise that what we are doing today is inseparable from the traces of hard work and sincerity of our seniors. Therefore, we extend our deepest appreciation and thanks,” Dodi stated.
He also conveyed congratulations to the newly inaugurated PWRI board. Dodi is confident that with their experience and togetherness, the new leadership will maintain the organisation’s solidarity and provide positive contributions.
Dodi hopes that PWRI will continue to serve as a warm forum for maintaining ties, a space for sharing experiences and wisdom, and a source of inspiration for active civil servants. He views the presence of retirees not merely as part of history, but as guides of values, guardians of traditions, and strengtheners of institutional character.
“Familial relationships are never severed by retirement. In fact, it is here that the value of togetherness is increasingly felt within the large family of the West Java DPRD Secretariat,” he said.
The West Java DPRD Secretariat, according to Dodi, is committed to maintaining close relations with PWRI through communication, synergy, and collaboration in various beneficial activities, both for members and the organisation.
Meanwhile, the Chair of PWRI for West Java Province, Yuyun Muslihat, hopes that the new leadership can work solidly and formulate strategic programmes that impact member welfare.
“For example, through activities that mutually assist among members and other beneficial programmes,” she stated.
