REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG – The West Java Provincial DPRD conveyed recommendations from the discussion of the Governor’s Accountability Report (LKPJ) for the 2025 Fiscal Year during a plenary session held in Bandung on Monday (11/5/2026).

The session formed part of the DPRD’s oversight function over local government operations, as well as an evaluation of the implementation of development programmes over the past fiscal year.

The plenary agenda began with the presentation of the report from Special Committee (Pansus) XIII of the West Java DPRD, which had been tasked with reviewing the Governor’s LKPJ for FY 2025.

Following the report, the session proceeded to the determination of the LKPJ discussion outcomes and concluded with remarks from West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi.

West Java DPRD Chairman Buky Wibawa Karya Guna stated that Pansus XIII had completed the entire series of discussions and produced recommendations that were established as decisions of the West Java DPRD.

According to Buky, these DPRD recommendations would serve as crucial inputs for formulating regional development planning, budgeting, and strategic local government regulations for the current and subsequent years.

“Recommendations on the Governor’s Accountability Report for the 2025 Fiscal Year have been established as DPRD decisions and will subsequently inform the formulation of regional development, regional budgets, and the Governor’s strategic policies,” Buky said.

He added that the DPRD recommendations would be submitted to the Governor for follow-up, with copies sent to the Minister of Home Affairs.

The West Java DPRD, he noted, would continue to maximise its oversight function through constructive recommendations to drive sustainable improvements in the performance of the West Java Provincial Government.
