Jakarta (ANTARA) - The West Jakarta Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes (Kanwil DJP Jakarta Barat) held a 2026 Public Consultation Forum (FKP) on Tuesday to align the processes of transferring land and building rights involving various sectors.

The Head of the West Jakarta DJP Regional Office, Farid Bachtiar, stated that the FKP serves as a two-way communication platform to gather various obstacles faced by the public during the process of transferring land and building rights.

“Input from stakeholders is expected to serve as evaluation material to synchronise regulations, systems, and service processes so that transactions involving the transfer of land and/or building rights can proceed more smoothly,” Farid said when confirmed in Jakarta on Tuesday.

According to him, regulation is the heart of tax administration; therefore, if necessary, he hopes improvements can be made from a regulatory perspective.

“We appreciate your presence in this forum, which serves as a two-way communication space. We also wish to listen to and accommodate any issues,” he added.

During the event, Farid also reported on the revenue performance of the West Jakarta DJP Regional Office. As of 24 September 2026, tax revenue was recorded at Rp58.28 trillion, or 68.37 per cent of the Rp85.24 trillion target.

“Meanwhile, Income Tax (PPh) revenue from the transfer of land and/or building rights reached Rp499.27 billion as of 31 August 2026,” Farid noted.

The FKP continued with presentations by West Jakarta DJP Tax Educator Agus Suyanto, the Head of the Rights Determination and Registration Section of the West Jakarta Land Office Bambang Pamungkas, and the Head of UP3D Kalideres Zidni Agni Apriya.

The speakers discussed various current issues within their respective jurisdictions regarding the series of processes involved in the transfer of land and building rights.
