West Jakarta records 1,538 Dengue Fever cases until July 2026

The West Jakarta Health Office (Sudinkes) has recorded 1,538 cases of Dengue Fever (DBD) from January to July 2026. “The number of DBD cases up to 30 July 2026 in West Jakarta has reached 1,53lar cases,” stated the Head of the West Jakarta Health Office, Sahruna, via a text message in Jakarta on Friday.

He has requested all Community Health Centres (Puskesmas) in West Jakarta to continue tightening periodic monitoring of incident rates and the speed of transmission in the field. Additionally, rapid intervention measures will be implemented through Epidemiological Investigations (PE) and the strengthening of the ‘PSN 3M Plus’ movement.

“Community Health Centres are actively conducting vector monitoring, specifically checking for dengue larvae in residential areas, accompanied by increased health promotion regarding the dangers of dengue,” he said.
