West Jakarta PPKD Opens Free Job Training Registration for Barista to Motorcycle Servicing Courses

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The West Jakarta Vocational Training Centre (PPKD) has opened registration for 210 participants for the third wave of 2026 across 11 programmes, ranging from barista training to motorcycle servicing.

“There are 11 regular training programmes open for registration, including fuel-injected motorcycle servicing, English, fashion design, culinary arts, housekeeping, beauty care and multimedia design,” said the Head of PPKD West Jakarta, Siti Nurbaeti, when contacted in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Siti said registration will remain open until 3 August 2026. Information about the training registration has also been shared with the public via PPKD West Jakarta’s official Instagram account since mid-July.

“After registration, there will be a selection stage from 4 to 6 August. So the registration deadline is likely to be 3 August,” said Siti.

She went on to explain that the third regular training wave of 2026 will accommodate 210 participants. In detail, every programme will take 20 participants, except the barista programme, which will take ten.

“The plan is that the regular training batch 3 of 2026 will run from 10 August to 13 October 2026,” she said.

Siti added that participants will not be charged any fees — the training is free of charge — and will receive a number of benefits.

However, there are several requirements for members of the public wishing to register: a minimum age of 17 and possession of a DKI Jakarta identity card (KTP).

“Registrants will also be asked to attach two 3x4 passport photos, photocopies of their KTP, family card (KK) and their latest educational certificate,” she said.

In addition to receiving various training materials relevant to their chosen programme, participants will also have the opportunity to take a competency test administered by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), planned for 14-15 October 2026.

“The competency test consists of theory and practice. Participants who pass will receive a certificate according to their competency, and all of this is free of charge,” said Siti.
