Jakarta (ANTARA) - The West Jakarta Class I Special Non-TPI Immigration Office is pushing for improved service quality, information transparency, and strengthened public communication through the launch of several innovations.

The Head of the West Jakarta Class I Special Non-TPI Immigration Office, Rakha Sukma Purnama, stated that the launch of these innovations represents an update to address the evolving needs of the community.

“Through the launch of these various innovations, we are committed to providing immigration services that are increasingly accessible, responsive, transparent, and beneficial to the public,” Rakha said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

In the field of public relations, West Jakarta Immigration has introduced the “Key Information Base and Accessible Response Channel of Information and E-Complaint Tracking” (KIBAG Connect).

“This innovation serves as a communication channel that makes it easier for the public to obtain information while simultaneously submitting suggestions, feedback, and complaints regarding immigration services,” he said.

Regarding services for foreign nationals (WNA), the West Jakarta Immigration Office introduced Immigration Connect (ICON) as a platform for communication and immigration literacy, specifically for foreign nationals and their sponsors.

Meanwhile, the Administrative Division introduced the BMN Care innovation as part of an effort to optimise the management and utilisation of state-owned assets.

“In addition to these various innovations, the West Jakarta Immigration Office is also continuously developing innovations in the field of Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement as part of strengthening the implementation of immigration duties and functions, namely SIGAP (Supervision Officer Performance Index Survey),” said Rakha.

This survey serves as a monitoring tool for foreign nationals or their sponsors regarding the performance of immigration officers during field inspections of foreigners.

In passport services, Rakha continued, the ‘Melati’ (Serving with Heart) innovation was introduced, which is a passport service programme for patients by providing direct services at hospitals. This is a manifestation of the commitment to providing humanistic and community-oriented services.

“Furthermore, there is also ‘Sahabat Kibar’ (Saturday Present with the Community), which is a passport service available on Saturdays, providing an alternative service time for the public outside of standard working hours,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration for the Special Jakarta Region, Pamuji Raharja, appreciated the commitment of the West Jakarta Immigration Office in presenting various breakthroughs to improve the quality of immigration services.

“I appreciate the commitment of the West Jakarta Immigration Office in presenting various innovations. Innovation must be able to provide a real impact, improve service quality, and meet the needs of the community,” said Pamuji.
