West Jakarta Government Holds Job Interview Sessions with 19 Companies
The West Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-department (Sudin Nakertransgi) held job interview sessions involving 19 companies across four sub-districts on Thursday. Job Fair 2026 committee chairman Septian Thahir stated the activity is the closing series of the Job Fair 2026, which was previously held virtually and in person from 16-25 June. “The walk-in interviews will take place in Tamansari, Grogol Petamburan, Kebon Jeruk, and Kalideres sub-districts. Each sub-district has five companies, except Tamansari which has four,” Septian told reporters at the Tanjung Duren Job Fair location on Wednesday. He explained that members of the public can still attend face-to-face interviews even if they did not register during the previous offline or online job fair activities. Applicants only need to register through the Karier Kerja application and bring application documents such as a curriculum vitae (CV) to participate in the interview process. “If there are people who didn’t manage to come here or register online and want to attend, please do, it’s no problem. They can just walk in later,” Septian said. He noted the walk-in interview was deliberately presented to demonstrate and dispel the notion that job fairs are merely a formality, showing instead that there is a real recruitment process from the companies. “We created this walk-in interview so the public can see that there is a process. As part of this activity, we have requested the 19 companies to submit their selection results within one month,” he stated. Previously, the West Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-department opened 4,262 job vacancies in the first wave of the 2026 job fair at the Tanjung Duren Sports Hall, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district. The head of the West Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-department, Faradisa Saforda Basuni, said this year’s job fair was held both online and in person. The online implementation ran from 16-25 June 2026, while the face-to-face activity took place on 23-24 June 2026. “The first wave of the 2026 West Jakarta Job Fair featured 47 companies with a total of 4,262 job vacancies comprising 182 types of positions,” Faradisa said in Jakarta on Tuesday (23/6). She detailed that as of 22 June 2026, 1,600 job seekers had registered for the activity.
