West Jakarta facilitates interviews for 139 job seekers with companies
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The West Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-Department (Sudin Nakertransgi) facilitated walk-in interviews between an outsourcing company and 139 job seekers on Monday.
“We are providing the space or venue for interviews between the company and job seekers, while also monitoring via the Siapkerja app, including data on the number of workers absorbed,” said the Head of the West Jakarta Sudin Nakertransgi, Jackson D. Sitorus, when contacted in Jakarta on Monday.
Jackson stated that the event was attended by 139 job seekers. They applied for various job vacancies at PT KPSG, such as contact centre positions up to frontliners like receptionists.
“We hope this becomes an alternative for the public who have not yet found employment,” he said.
In addition to PT KPSG, the West Jakarta Sudin Nakertransgi also collaborated with Sinar Sosro Gunung Slamet, Kredivo, and PT PNM for the same event.
“Tomorrow with Sinar Sosro Gunung Slamet, Wednesday with Kredivo, and Thursday with PT PNM,” Jackson concluded.
At the same location, Soimah (22), a resident of Ciledug, Tangerang, said she was helped in her job search through the walk-in interview.
“A friend sent me information about the walk-in interview from a post on Instagram @sudinnakertransgijakbar. Immediately, I prepared the required application documents, and today I have been interviewed,” said the young woman who is still in her final semester at one of the private universities in Jakarta.
