West Jakarta Environmental Agency Resumes Vehicle Emission Testing in Kalideres

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The West Jakarta Environmental Agency (Sudin LH) carried out emission tests on 145 motor vehicles on Tampak Siring Street, Kalideres, on Thursday.

The Head of the West Jakarta Environmental Agency, Achmad Hariadi, stated that the emission tests involved checking compliance with the obligation to meet motor vehicle exhaust emission threshold limits, conducted using emission testing equipment in accordance with Jakarta Provincial Regulation No. 31 of 2008.

“The purpose of this activity is to determine the level of public compliance with the obligation to meet motor vehicle exhaust emission threshold limits,” said Hariadi when contacted in Jakarta on Thursday.

This time, 138 vehicles passed the emission test, while seven did not.

“For petrol-fuelled cars, 39 passed and two failed, totalling 41 units,” said Hariadi.

Meanwhile, for diesel-fuelled cars, 24 passed and one failed. For two-wheeled vehicles, 75 passed and four failed.

Hariadi’s side also requested that vehicles which failed the emission test undergo repairs at official workshops.

The list of official emission testing workshop locations in the West Jakarta area includes: Tunas Toyota Kebayoran Lama Dipo Pahala Internasional Otomotif, Kembangan Delta Auto, Mangga Besar Tunas Mobilindo Parama, Tomang Cung Service, Jembatan Lima Auto 2020 Jayakarta Akastra Toyota.

Then Kebayoran Lama Plaza Auto Prima Cabang Kyai Tapa, Grogol Bumen Redja Abadi, Jembatan Tiga Tunas Toyota Latumenten Rahardja Ekalancar, Daan Mogot Lautan Berlian Mitsubishi Restu Mahkota Karya, Kebon Jeruk Indomobil Multitrada.
