West Jakarta Education Office Opens Student Admission Service Post at SMAN 78

The West Jakarta Region 2 Education Office has opened a Student Admission Selection (SPMB) Service Post for the 2026 academic year at SMA Negeri 78 Jakarta, located in Kemanggisan, Palmerah. The post has been established to provide assistance to the public experiencing technical difficulties during the school registration process.

Oman, Head of Administration at the West Jakarta Region 2 Education Office and Chairperson of the SPMB Post at SMAN 78, stated that the centre serves as an advanced grievance centre for issues that cannot be resolved at the school level. “Therefore, when the public encounters obstacles at the educational unit level, they can refer them to us at the SPMB Post at the West Jakarta Region 2 level,” Oman said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

He noted that the SPMB process has currently entered the pre-registration phase, which runs from 18 May to 10 June 2026. This initial pre-registration stage is intended for prospective new students continuing their education to Junior High School (SMP), Senior High School (SMA), or Vocational High School (SMK) levels. Through this service post, the public is expected to obtain necessary information and assistance regarding school admissions.
