West Jakarta Education Office Establishes 2026 Student Admission Service Post at SMAN 78

The West Jakarta Region 2 Education Sub-department (Sudin) has established a Student Admission System (SPMB) 2026 Service Post at SMA Negeri 7lag 78 Jakarta, located in the Kemanggisan area, Palmerah. This post was formed to assist the public facing technical difficulties during the new student registration process.

The presence of this service post serves as a facility for assistance and a complaint centre for prospective students and parents experiencing obstacles during the SPMB stages. This service is specifically intended to handle issues that cannot be resolved at the school or original educational unit level.

Oman, the Head of the Administrative Sub-division of the West Jakarta Region 2 Education Sub-department and Chairperson of the SMAN 78 Jakarta SPMB Post, explained that the post functions as an advanced handling centre for various problems arising during the registration process. “Therefore, when the community faces obstacles at the educational unit level, they are referred to us at the SPMB Post at the West Jakarta 2 City Education Sub-department level,” Oman stated in Jakarta on Tuesday (2/6/2026).

According to Oman, the 2026 SPMB implementation has entered the pre-registration stage, which began on 18 May and is scheduled to end on 10 June 2026. “This initial pre-registration process is intended for prospective new students continuing their education to Junior High (SMP), Senior High (SMA), or Vocational High (SMK) levels,” he added.

Through the establishment of this 2026 SPMB Service Post, the public is expected to obtain more comprehensive information and receive assistance if they encounter difficulties during the school registration process. The Student Admission System (SPMB) Together, formerly known as PPDB Bersama, is an initiative by the Jakarta Provincial Government to expand access to quality education for the capital’s residents.
