West Jakarta City Government to provide development prizes for Pemuda Pelopor 2026 winners

West Jakarta City Government (Jakbar) through the West Jakarta Youth and Sports Sub-Agency (Sudinpora) is providing development prizes for the Pemuda Pelopor 2026 winners. Yuni Tresnowati, head of the Youth Section of Sudinpora Jakarta Barat, said registration for prospective participants opens from February 23 to March 25, 2026. ‘There are five fields of leadership being contested. For first, second and third place, development prizes will be provided,’ Yuni told reporters in Jakarta on Thursday (5/3). The five leadership fields are education, food and technological innovation, religion, social and culture, and natural resources (SDA), environment and tourism. The winners in each leadership field, Yuni said, will receive development funds of Rp4 million for first place, Rp2.5 million for second place, and Rp1.5 million for third place. ‘Each winner from each field will later represent the Administrative City of West Jakarta to a similar competition at the provincial level,’ Yuni explained. Some requirements for candidates include being Indonesian citizens aged 17-29, having a KTP domiciled in West Jakarta, not being a civil servant, and having the leadership field carried out in their residence environment. For participants who meet the criteria and are selected, they will need to participate in the technical meeting stage on 6 April 2026. ‘The fact-finding phase of this activity is planned to run from 12-15 April. We invite youths in Jakbar who have achievements in the field corresponding to the competition categories to register,’ Yuni said.
