West Jakarta City Government and BPN Intensify Mobile Land Service Consultation Programme
The West Jakarta City Government, together with the National Land Agency (BPN), is intensifying a mobile land service consultation programme for the public, known as Konseling Peta Jakbar. West Jakarta Mayor Iin Mutmainnah stated on Monday that two residents of Cengkareng received land certificates through the programme. “For some people, dealing with land matters is still considered complicated and difficult. However, through the Jakbar land counselling programme, upgrading land rights to a certificate can be done within a month,” Iin said when confirmed in Jakarta on Monday. Therefore, Iin hopes the proactive outreach programme by BPN West Jakarta, which has been running since April, will continue to be implemented effectively across the eight sub-districts in West Jakarta. “Residents of West Jakarta now have the opportunity to access easy land services, as has been implemented in Cengkareng District,” she said. Meanwhile, Head of BPN West Jakarta, Shinta Purwitasari, said the Konseling Peta Jakbar programme not only serves land rights upgrades, but this mobile service also provides consultation for various land issues and replacement of damaged land certificates. “We have carried out this activity smoothly in three sub-districts. God willing, this month we will move to Grogol Petamburan,” she asserted. One resident of RW 02 West Cengkareng, Dicki, admitted he learned about this service through information on social media. He chose to access the Konseling Peta Jakbar programme because he considered the cost to be cheaper than using a notary service. The process, Dicki added, was very helpful because it was straightforward and easy. The process was also fast and did not take a long time. “It turns out, the fee was only Rp50,000. I am very grateful for this mobile car service because it is very helpful,” he added.
