West Bandung State School Admissions to Open Soon: Key Dates, Registration, and Capacity

Registration for the New Student Admission System (SPMB) for the 2026/2027 academic year in West Bandung Regency (KBB), West Java, will soon open for state primary schools (SD) and state junior secondary schools (SMP). The entire registration process will be conducted online.

Based on information gathered, registration for primary schools will take place from 19 June to 3 July 2026. Meanwhile, registration for junior secondary schools will open from 19 to 25 June 2026 for the domicile pathway, and from 29 June to 3 July 2026 for the achievement, affirmation, and transfer pathways. Registration is carried out via the website https://spmb-disdik.bandungbaratkab.go.id.

“SPMB registration in West Bandung is conducted online. This system has been in place for the past four years,” said Acting Head of the West Bandung Education Office, Edy Syafrudin, when confirmed on Monday (15/7/2026).

He stated that for the capacity of state primary schools, his office has prepared around 31,000 seats spread across 701 schools in all sub-districts. Meanwhile, for state junior secondary schools, the capacity is around 17,000 seats spread across 67 schools. “For primary schools, the quota is approximately 31,000 students, while for junior secondary schools it is 17,132 students. The primary quota covers 701 schools, and for junior secondary there are 67 state schools,” he said.
