West Bandung SPMB Registration Goes Fully Online: Here Are the Schedules and Quotas

The registration for the New Student Admission System (SPMB) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year in West Bandung Regency (KBB), West Java, will soon open for state primary schools (SD Negeri) and state junior secondary schools (SMP Negeri). The registration process will be conducted entirely online. Based on information gathered, primary school registration will take place from 19 June to 3 July 2026. Meanwhile, junior secondary school registration will open from 19 to 25 June 2026 for the domicile pathway, and from 29 June to 3 July 2026 for the achievement, affirmation, and mutation pathways. Registration is carried out via the SPMB website of the West Bandung Regency Education Office. Acting Head of the KBB Education Office, Edy Syafrudin, stated that the online registration system has been implemented over the past four years. “West Bandung SPMB registration is carried out online. This system has been in place since four years ago,” Edy said when confirmed on Monday (15/6/2026). He noted that the capacity for state primary schools reaches around 31,000 seats spread across 701 schools in all sub-districts. Meanwhile, the capacity for state junior secondary schools is around 17,000 seats spread across 67 schools. “For primary schools, the quota is around 31,000 students, while for junior secondary schools it is 17,132 students. There are 701 primary schools, while for junior secondary there are 67 state junior secondary schools,” said Edy. Registration is conducted through the page https://spmb-disdik.bandungbaratkab.go.id.
