Welltekindo's joint venture

JAKARTA (JP): PT Welltekindo Nusantara, a company specializing
in the maintenance of oil-mining facilities, said yesterday that
it will sign a joint venture agreement here tomorrow with
Specialty Machine and Supply Inc. of the United States.

Under the agreement, the two companies are to set up the
country's first venture producing oil-mining machinery.

Welltekindo said in a statement yesterday that the partners
expect to construct a production plant in Cikarang, West Java.

The statement gave no details on total investment, product
specification or production capacity. (alo)
