Welfare allowance for teachers

I am a civil servant and teach religion at a government senior high school in Central Jakarta. Every month my colleagues at this school and teachers at other government senior high schools in Jakarta, who are attached to the Ministry of National Education, receive a welfare allowance of Rp 300,000. Unfortunately, teachers attached to the Ministry of Religious Affairs -- like me and some of my colleagues -- are not entitled to this allowance.

We have brought this matter to the attention of the Jakarta administration and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, but neither have given us a satisfactory answer yet.

It is time that the Jakarta administration and the Ministry of Religious Affairs clarified this matter.
