Welcoming Indonesia's 81st Independence Day, BUMN Bakti Volunteers Mobilise Across 11 Locations Including South Lampung
PTPN Group and InJourney Group have confirmed that all preparations for the 2026 Relawan Bakti BUMN (RBB) Programme in Bulok Village, Kalianda District, South Lampung Regency are ready.
The programme, which will take place on 16–19 August 2026, is part of the national Relawan Bakti BUMN movement, being implemented at 11 locations across Indonesia.
“As a form of SOE collaboration in strengthening community empowerment and sustainable village development,” said Denaldy Mulino Mauna, President Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara or PTPN III (Persero), in a statement on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
In South Lampung, the programme is being carried out through a synergy between PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) as the Nusantara Plantation Holding, together with PT Perkebunan Nusantara I (Persero) as a subholding of PTPN Group.
It also involves PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (InJourney), PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, and PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (ITDC).
“This collaboration is directed towards supporting the development of Bulok Village as an empowered, sustainable and enduring tourism village,” he said.
Denaldy stated that programme readiness is being coordinated with all involved SOEs and the regional government, so that activities run effectively and provide tangible benefits to the community.
“Relawan Bakti BUMN is not merely a series of social activities, but part of the spirit of collaboration to build villages sustainably,” said Denaldy.
“We are ensuring that all preparations are carried out thoroughly so that every programme implemented truly addresses the needs of the Bulok Village community. The volunteers are already on site,” he said.
Hundreds of volunteers from various SOEs who have arrived in South Lampung immediately took part in orientation, field coordination and technical preparations before the official opening of the programme on Sunday, 16 August 2026.
The volunteers were welcomed together with regional government officials and the local community, symbolising the start of collaboration between SOEs and the residents of Bulok Village.
On Sunday, 16 August 2026, the series of activities will begin with the opening ceremony of Relawan Bakti BUMN 2026 at Rio by The Beach, which will be attended by stakeholders, followed by coastal clean-up of Teluk Nipah Beach, renovation of places of worship and painting of a waste bank, as well as a rehearsal for the 81st Independence Day ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia at Radja Baginda Field involving volunteers, students and the Bulok Village community.
