Welcoming 28th Anniversary, Bank Mandiri Blood Donation Drive Attracts Thousands Across 12 Regions
Under the theme “Satu Langkah Darimu, Sejuta Harapan Untuknya” (One Step from You, a Million Hopes for Others), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk held a simultaneous humanitarian blood donation drive across 12 regions throughout Indonesia on Thursday (2/7). This ongoing social initiative is part of the series of events marking the 28th anniversary of Bank Mandiri, which is consistently held on the 2nd of each month.
Since its first implementation in April 2026, the programme has successfully collected more than 7,000 blood bags, demonstrating Bank Mandiri’s commitment to extending benefits and providing hope for those in need.
In this third period of the Mandiri Blood Donation programme, Bank Mandiri again collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and several healthcare facilities to organise the simultaneous blood donation drive on Thursday (2/7) across 12 Bank Mandiri regions throughout Indonesia. The activity involved the participation of more than 280 donors in each region, resulting in 3,360 donors nationally, and also included members of Bank Mandiri’s board of directors as role models in fostering a culture of sharing.
The event was not only open to Bank Mandiri employees, or Mandirians, but also to customers and the general public around the company’s operational areas. Through synergy with various parties, Bank Mandiri hopes this humanitarian action can help meet blood supply needs while encouraging public participation in social activities that provide direct benefits to others.
Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Adhika Vista stated that the regular Mandiri Blood Donation drive is a tangible manifestation of the company’s commitment to continuously delivering benefits to the community. Through this activity, Bank Mandiri aims to strengthen the spirit of sharing and mutual cooperation, while inviting broader participation.
“We present the Mandiri Blood Donation programme on an ongoing basis so that its benefits can be felt more widely, while also serving as a platform for Mandirians, customers, and the public to contribute together through a simple yet impactful humanitarian action,” Adhika said in an official statement on Thursday (2/7).
Adhika further conveyed that amidst the company’s continuously growing business performance, Bank Mandiri is committed to maintaining a balance between creating economic value and social contributions to the community. He noted that the company’s growth must be accompanied by initiatives that provide tangible benefits and reach more segments of society.
“Therefore, we continue to promote various sustainability programmes that not only strengthen corporate performance but also create a positive social impact,” Adhika stated.
During the event, prospective donors underwent a registration process, identity verification, and health screening by medical personnel to ensure they were in prime condition before donating. To support participant comfort, Bank Mandiri also provided various supporting facilities at each location.
Beyond being a humanitarian action, this activity also strengthens the culture of social awareness within the company and encourages active community involvement in helping others. Bank Mandiri is optimistic that the synergy built through this programme can deliver a sustainable positive impact for the wider community.
This initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to consistently delivering social programmes that are relevant, inclusive, and impactful across various operational areas.
“Bank Mandiri will continue to strengthen its role as an agent of development, present not only through financial services but also through various social initiatives that provide sustainable benefits to the community,” Adhika concluded.
