Weekly politics: Military training halted, West Java to become Tatar Sunda
The Defence Ministry has halted basic military training for Sarjana Penggerak Pembangunan Indonesia (SPPI) participants who are prospective managers of the Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) and Koperasi Nelayan Merah Putih (KNMP). The ministry has also decided to shorten the discipline and leadership training period for SPPI participants in the programme to just two weeks.
