- Police Arrest Man Who Damaged and Obstructed an Ambulance in Depok
The Metro Depok Police arrested a man with the initials ML who allegedly damaged and obstructed an ambulance while it was on its way to pick up a traffic accident victim in Sukmajaya, Depok.
The Head of Public Relations at the Metro Depok Police, AKP Made Budi, confirmed the incident in Jakarta on Monday, adding that the suspect has been detained at the police station.
- Metro Jaya Police Foil Drug Trafficking Operation Controlled from Prison
The Narcotics Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police foiled a drug trafficking operation in North Jakarta, which was controlled from within a correctional institution. The evidence seized included 1,000 ecstasy pills and 115.16 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
“We have arrested two suspects with the initials T (40) and F (43),” said the Head of Sub-Directorate 2 of the Metro Jaya Police Narcotics Directorate, AKBP Tiyatno Pamungkas, in Jakarta on Sunday.
- Cipinang Prison and National Police Uncover Ecstasy Trafficking in Nightclubs
The Class I Cipinang Correctional Institution in Jakarta, together with the National Police’s Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dittipidnarkoba), successfully uncovered a drug trafficking operation involving ecstasy pills and vape products containing etomidate at two nightclubs in West Jakarta.
“We have successfully uncovered the practice of trafficking ecstasy pills and vape products containing etomidate through a joint operation between the National Police’s Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate and the Cipinang Prison,” said the Head of Class I Cipinang Prison, Wachid Wibowo, in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday.
- Police Arrest Suspect in Arson Case in Matraman
The Matraman Police have arrested a man with the initials A (24) who is suspected of being involved in arson attacks at several locations in the Pisangan Baru sub-district, Matraman district, East Jakarta.
“We have secured the suspect who allegedly committed the arsons. The suspect was arrested at his home,” said the Head of the Matraman Police, AKP Suripno, when confirmed in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate (Dittipidnarkoba) of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) successfully uncovered a drug trafficking operation involving etomidate and crystal methamphetamine in the Tangerang area, Banten.
The Director of Narcotics Criminal Investigation (Dirtipidnarkoba) of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim), Brigjen Pol. Eko Hadi Santoso, explained that the raid took place on Tuesday (May 12) at around 00:25 local time.

The Metro Jaya Police are investigating an alleged child prostitution case involving foreign nationals from Japan in the Blok M area, South Jakarta, after the issue went viral on social media through a Japanese-language post discussing sexual exploitation of minors.
“Regarding the prostitution case in Blok M, we would like to clarify that it is still under investigation by the Directorate for Women and Children Protection (PPA/PPO) along with the Cyber Directorate, as well as the Metro Jakarta Selatan Police,” said the Head of Public Relations at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, to reporters in Jakarta on Wednesday.
