Weekend Market Opens Market Access for Collectors and Creative Entrepreneurs
Circle K Indonesia has opened market access for collectors and creative entrepreneurs through the ‘Weekend Market: Music & Preloved’ held at Circle K Gandaria, Jakarta. The event, which took place from 29-30 August 2026, brought together sellers of collectible items, preloved goods, and creative works with consumers and communities sharing similar interests.
In this inaugural edition, numerous entrepreneurs and collectors offered products related to music and creative lifestyles. The range of products included rare cassettes and CDs, band merchandise, imported music magazines, sneakers, apparel, and various music-themed preloved items.
This format provides a space for collectors and small business owners to offer products directly to consumers. Sellers are also able to engage with communities and potential buyers who share an interest in the products being sold.
The Weekend Market is supported by the Indonesian Music Journalists Network (JJMI), which connects musicians, writers, creators, fans, enthusiasts, and creative workers within the independent music ecosystem.
Wirawan Herdyanto, Senior Manager of Brand Communications at Circle K Indonesia, stated that the activity is intended to bring communities and the public together through activities aligned with their interests.
“Through the Weekend Market, we want Circle K to become a space that is increasingly relevant to the daily lives and interests of the community. Not just as a place to meet daily needs, but also as a place to meet, discover something interesting, share stories, and form and grow existing circles,” said Wirawan Herdyanto.
In addition to product sales, several musicians performed during the event, including Daisy Hera, William Sihombing, Reza Miranda, and Sigit Wardana. Sigit Wardana also introduced his latest mini-album, “Eksisten!”, as part of the programme. The activity brought musicians together with music lovers while providing a platform for new works to be recognised by the community.
The Weekend Market is one of the formats utilised by Circle K to leverage its retail outlets as meeting points for collectors, creative entrepreneurs, communities, and consumers.
