Wednesday, Prabowo to Attend IPA Convex 2026 Exhibition

JAKARTA — President Prabowo Subianto is set to attend the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) Convention and Exhibition at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026.

Speaking at the State Secretariat Office (KSP), Palace Complex, Jakarta, on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, Dudung said: “And for tomorrow’s activities, the President will attend the exhibition, yes, the oil entrepreneurs—the Indonesian Petroleum Association.”

According to Dudung, the exhibition will be attended by many energy-sector entrepreneurs from various countries.

“So, many oil entrepreneurs in ASEAN will be present. This is like a kind of anniversary that will be attended by the President,” he said.

“Additionally, for activities in the DPR there will be a hearing with the DPR to discuss current economic developments,” he added.

The Indonesian Petroleum Association is the association of upstream oil and gas players in Indonesia.

This year’s IPA Convex event carries the theme “50 Years of Energy Partnership: Shaping the Next Era for Advancing Growth.”

Chair of the IPA Convex 2026 Committee, Teresita Listyani, said the 50th-anniversary edition of IPA Convex is not only a reflection on the long journey of the national upstream oil and gas industry, but also a strategic forum to discuss the future of Indonesia’s energy security.

She said IPA Convex 2026 will feature more than 200 exhibitors and more than 200 technical presentations addressing a range of strategic issues in the energy sector, from exploration and technology to energy transition and upstream oil and gas investments.
