Wearing a Light Blue Tie, Jumhur Hidayat Arrives at the Palace Ahead of Limited Reshuffle

Chairman of the All-Indonesian Confederation of Workers’ Unions (KSPSI), Jumhur Hidayat, arrived at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta ahead of the inauguration of officials. Jumhur is reported to be inaugurated as a minister. Observations by detikcom on Monday (27/4/2026) showed Jumhur arriving at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta at 13:51 WIB. Jumhur arrived wearing a suit and black peci as well as a blue tie. Jumhur was accompanied by his family. Jumhur said he was invited to conduct a rehearsal for the inauguration. However, he was not yet willing to specify the position he would be assigned to. “They told me to come at 2 o’clock, there’s a rehearsal,” said Jumhur. “I’ll talk about it later, I can’t jump ahead, it wouldn’t be good,” said Jumhur when asked about the rumour of him becoming Minister of Environment. If he truly becomes Minister of Environment (LH), according to him, he will work hard considering there is a lot of homework. Especially regarding waste. “Minister of Environment has many tasks and will work hard,” he stated.
