The government of Sriwulan Village, Limbangan District, Kendal Regency, is preparing to distribute holiday bonuses (Tunjangan Hari Raya, THR) to its residents. This year, each household head will receive one million rupiah.

The THR is derived from the village’s management of Arenan Kalikesek tourist attraction during 2025. The distribution will take place on Wednesday (11 March) at 14:00 WIB at Sriwulan Village’s multipurpose building.

“Alhamdulillah, in 2026, Sriwulan Village will distribute THR to each household, valued at one million rupiah. This one million rupiah THR comes from the revenue generated by managing Arenan Kalikesek tourist attraction throughout 2025,” said Sriwulan Village Secretary Nur Abidin in an interview on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

Abidin explained that the THR will be distributed to 255 households and also to seven residents who are not yet household heads. The requirement is that these residents must have been domiciled in the village for more than six months.

“Those receiving the one million rupiah THR will be 255 households, and we will also distribute to seven residents of Sriwulan Village who are not yet household heads, provided they have been domiciled here for more than six months. These seven residents will receive 500,000 rupiah each,” he explained.

Abidin noted that this THR distribution programme has been running for the past three years since 2024. The nominal value of THR varies each year and continues to increase.

“In 2024, the amount was 500,000 rupiah, in 2025 it was 750,000 rupiah, and in 2026 this year it is one million rupiah—quite a significant amount,” he said.
