We must stay united
We must stay united
From Suara Karya
Quite a few people have expressed their concern in the print and electronic media over anticipation of something likely to happen which could befall the nation. Both the political elite and public figures alike are always trading arguments. More often than not they are dragged into conflicts because of a certain group's aspirations and ambitions for power as well as the desire to win the heart of the public. These all may eventually harm the unity of this nation.
In view of this sensitive situation, we all should warmly welcome any ideas, appeals or efforts that may bond the people and nation together. All of us should be prudent and should set aside personal or group interests for the sake of a just, independent and prosperous nation.
To create a conducive and dynamic political atmosphere based on democracy, let us heed the appeals to unite from our leaders so that we may be able to live in peace.
As the plenary session draws near, with a possible issuance of a second memorandum of censure on the agenda, to be or not to be, we all, once again, must stay together and restrain ourselves from any activity that will only benefit a certain select group.
