JAKARTA (JP): Mrs. Alaine Wolfensohn, wife of the visiting World Bank president, visited Gandaria Utara subdistrict in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Wednesday to get a close look at the way of life in the area.
"Mrs. Wolfensohn is curious to know the people's social activities, such as children's education, and health services in the RW 011 and RW 012 communities," South Jakarta Mayor Pardjoko said.
According to Pardjoko, the wife of the World Bank president wanted to know more about the achievements made by the Indonesian government and the city administration through the Mohamad Husni Thamrin kampong improvement programs which have been funded by the World Bank.
