WASHINGTON (DPA): The World Bank announced Wednesday approval
of a US$16.4 million loan to Indonesia to help improve government
auditing of public finances and make allocation of resources more
efficient and effective.
The total cost of the BPK Audit Modernization Project is
estimated at $26.6 million, the bank said.
The funding shortfall will be made up by the Indonesian
government. BPK is Indonesia's government auditing board.
