Water Truck Overturns Following Tyre Blowout in Bogor

A truck carrying gallons of water overturned on Jalan MH Thamrin, Babakan Madang District, Bogor, West Java. The truck overturned due to a tyre blowout. “While the vehicle was in motion, the rear left tyre suddenly burst,” said the Head of the Bogor Regency Fire Department, Yudi Santosa, on Tuesday (24 February 2026). The incident occurred at around 2:00 PM local time. Yudi said that after the tyre burst, the truck lost control and flipped over. “As a result, the vehicle became uncontrollable and overturned, blocking the road. Therefore, the reporter contacted the Fire Department to carry out an evacuation,” he said. Upon receiving the report from residents, fire department officers immediately headed to the scene. Within 10 minutes, the officers arrived at the location and immediately began handling the situation. There were no casualties or injuries in the incident. Currently, the truck has been successfully evacuated by the fire department officers. “The final situation is now under control, and the truck has been successfully evacuated.
