Water stopped in some areas

JAKARTA (JP): The city-owned water company PAM Jaya announced
yesterday that the tap water supply to a number of areas --
Cengkareng, Taman Kota, Green Garden, Kapuk, Kedaung Kali Angke
and Daan Mogot in West Jakarta -- has been temporarily stopped
until Monday.

H. Rama Boedi, technical director of the company, said that
the water stoppage was caused mainly by pipe repair works at
Taman Installation.

"The repair works are expected to be completed by Monday at
the latest," he told Antara.

"We apologize for the inconvenience," he added. (hhr)
