Water stoppage in Central Jakarta

JAKARTA (JP): The city-owned water company, PAM Jaya, announced yesterday that tap water supplies in the Pasar Baru, Lapangan Banteng and Kantor Pos areas, which were temporarily stopped yesterday, are expected to be back to normal at 10 a.m. today.

The disturbance in the areas, which began at 8 p.m. yesterday, was caused by a pipe installation project on Jl. Katedral, Central Jakarta. (yns)
