Water stoppage in
West, North Jakarta

The City Water Company, PAM Jaya, stopped water supply to some
areas in West Jakarta and North Jakarta for three days starting
Saturday evening due to installation of a water main near the
Pejompongan, Central Jakarta, treatment plant.

PAM Jaya business director H. Poedjiyono said on Saturday the
water supply to the areas would resume again on Tuesday, after
the completion of the installation.

The temporary water stoppage affects the Daan Mogot and
Tanjung Duren areas in West Jakarta, and the Muara Karang and
Pluit areas in North Jakarta. (has)
