Water disruption in Sudirman area

JAKARTA: Water utility PT Pam Lyonnaise Jaya (PT Palyja) says
that supplies to a number of areas in Central Jakarta will be
disrupted on Saturday and Sunday due to pipe-laying work at its
Pejompongan facility.

In a press release made available on Friday, the company said
the work would affect water supplies in Jati Pinggir, Cideng,
Moch. Mansyur, Perniagaan, Pejagalan, Navy hospital, Bendungan
Hilir, Carrefour Ratu Plaza, Panin Bank on Jl. Sudirman, and
surrounding areas.

It said the company, which supplies water to western parts of
the city, would restore normal water supplies gradually, starting
at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

"We apologize for the inconvenience this work may cause and
strongly recommend that customers fill up their water receptacles
and use water efficiently," said the press release. -- JP
