Water cut off temporarily

JAKARTA (JP): The city-owned water company PAM Jaya announced
yesterday that it will temporarily stop water supplies in several
areas starting today.

The company said that water to Pluit Timur, Jembatan Besi,
Tubagus Angke and Bandengan Selatan, North Jakarta, will be
stopped for one day due to a pump being installed.

Water on Jl. Latumenten, West Jakarta, will also be cut off on
Wednesday night.

The Antara news agency reported that services will be back to
normal tomorrow. (yns)
