Waskita launches integrated payment system to simplify partner processes
PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) has launched a Host to Host (H2H) integrated payment system, an effort to simplify the payment process for business partners through enhanced digital convenience.
The company is utilising the Application Programming Interface (API) services of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI), which adheres to the National Open API Standard (SNAP).
In an official statement in Jakarta on Wednesday, WSKT Finance Director Wiwi Suprihatno explained that the implementation of H2H is a tangible manifestation of digital transformation, strengthening the company’s payment centralisation process.
“This is in line with Waskita’s transformation, which refers to eight strategic streams. One of these is business transformation aimed at strengthening fund governance to achieve Good Corporate Governance (GCG),” said Wiwi.
With the H2H innovation using the SNAP-standardised API, Wiwi noted that payment submissions by project teams will no longer require physical billing documents, as everything is processed digitally through the SAP application.
As a result, project teams can monitor the submission workflow directly at any time and from any location. Furthermore, Waskita’s business partners can receive real-time information regarding invoice payments.
“The implementation of H2H has a positive impact on cash flow management and aligns with the company’s priorities and strategies. Moving forward, Waskita Karya will undertake comprehensive digitalisation of the company’s operational systems,” Wiwi added.
The company has become the first construction firm to obtain SNAP certification, part of its efforts to strengthen digital transformation and facilitate payment processes.
On this occasion, the company also expressed its appreciation to BNI for supporting the strengthening of Waskita Karya’s digital ecosystem, expressing confidence that the synergy between the two parties will provide significant mutual benefits.
“The use of BNI’s API services is a form of SOE (State-Owned Enterprise) collaboration aimed at facilitating the public while driving the national payment system. It is hoped that the established cooperation can continue and realise sustainable digitalisation,” said Wiwi.
