Waskita Launches Integrated Payment System Based on SNAP

PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk has launched a Host-to-Host (H2H) integrated payment system by utilising the Application Programming Interface (API) services of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, which adheres to the National Open API Standard (SNAP). This system enables the application and payment of invoices to be conducted digitally and connected directly to the banking system.

Waskita Karya’s Finance Director, Wiwi Suprihatino, stated that the implementation of H2H allows the payment process to be automated, connecting the company’s internal systems with the banking system in real time.

“As a result, Waskita becomes the first construction company to obtain SNAP certification,” Wiwi said in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (1/9/2026).

Through this system, payment submissions by project teams no longer require physical invoice documents. The entire process is conducted digitally via the SAP application, while project teams can monitor the payment submission workflow directly.

Waskita’s business partners can also receive real-time information regarding invoice payments. The implementation of H2H also strengthens the centralisation of the company’s payment processes.

Wiwi noted that the H2H implementation is part of the company’s digital transformation, including the strengthening of fund management.

“The goal is to ensure that financial processes become integrated, efficient, transparent, and accountable,” said Wiwi.

According to Wiwi, the system aligns with Waskita’s transformation, which refers to eight strategic streams, one of which is business transformation to strengthen fund management.

“One of them is business transformation in order to strengthen fund management to realise Good Corporate Governance (GCG),” Wiwi continued.

The implementation of this digital payment system is also considered capable of supporting the company’s cash flow management. Waskita subsequently targets broader digitalisation across the company’s operational systems.

“In the future, Waskita Karya will undertake comprehensive digitalisation of the company’s operational systems,” added Wiwi.

Wiwi stated that the use of BNI’s API also represents a form of collaboration between State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in the development of digital payment systems.

“It is hoped that the established cooperation can continue and realise sustainable digitalisation,” said Wiwi.
