Waskita Karya Introduces Integrated Host-to-Host Payment System
PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk has introduced an integrated Host-to-Host (H2H) payment system. In this context, the Company is utilising the Application Programming Interface (API) services of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, which adheres to the National Open API Standard (SNAP).
As a result, Waskita has become the first construction company to obtain SNAP certification. This step is part of an effort to strengthen digital transformation to facilitate payment processes.
Through H2H, payments can be performed automatically, allowing the company’s internal system as a host to connect directly with banking systems or other financial institutions as another host in real time. The objective is to ensure that financial processes become integrated, efficient, transparent, and accountable.
Waskita Karya’s Finance Director, Wiwi Suprihatno, stated that the implementation of H2H is a tangible manifestation of the company’s digital transformation. This method strengthens the centralisation of payments within Waskita.
“This is in line with Waskita’s transformation, which refers to eight streams. One of these is business transformation aimed at strengthening fund governance to realise Good Corporate Governance (GCG),” said Wiwi in an official statement on Tuesday (1/9/2026).
With the H2H innovation using SNAP-standardised APIs, payment submissions by project teams no longer require physical billing documents, as everything is conducted digitally through the SAP application. Project teams can monitor the submission flow directly at any time and from anywhere.
Similarly, Waskita’s business partners can receive real-time information regarding invoice payments.
“The implementation of H2H has a positive impact on cash flow management and aligns with the Company’s priorities and strategies. Moving forward, Waskita Karya will undertake comprehensive digitalisation of the company’s operational systems,” said Wiwi.
She also expressed gratitude to BNI for supporting the strengthening of Waskita’s digital ecosystem. She believes this synergy will provide many benefits to both parties.
“The use of BNI’s API services is a form of SOE (State-Owned Enterprise) collaboration aimed at making things easier for the public while driving the national payment system. It is hoped that the established cooperation can continue and realise sustainable digitalisation,” she concluded.
