Warmly Welcomed, Prabowo Inspects New Housing for Senen Railway Residents

President Prabowo Subianto inspected the new housing for residents in the Senen area of Central Jakarta. The residents were relocated because they previously lived along the railway tracks.

The moment was shared by Prabowo on his official social media account. From the uploaded photos, Prabowo’s presence was warmly welcomed by residents who had already gathered at the location.

Many residents captured Prabowo’s arrival on camera. Prabowo also appeared to inspect the interior of the housing units.

Prabowo chatted with residents and hugged the children. He was also seen conversing with residents while inspecting the housing.

“Tonight I met with residents in their new homes. They previously lived along the railway tracks near Senen Station, Jakarta,” Prabowo wrote on his social media, as quoted by detikcom on Friday (28/8/2026).

Prabowo expressed hope that the new housing would be beneficial. He hoped that residents who previously lived along the railway tracks could live more comfortably and safely.

“I hope this new house becomes a more decent, safe, and comfortable place to live for all families,” he said.
