Warm Embrace Between Jakarta Archbishop and Religious Affairs Minister During Lebaran Moment

The Archbishop of Jakarta, Cardinal Ignatius Suharyo, visited the Minister of Religious Affairs and Grand Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Nasaruddin Umar. The Cardinal’s visit was to offer Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah greetings at the Minister’s official residence.

This moment was posted by the Instagram account of the Public Relations of the Archdiocese of Jakarta. In the caption, it was noted that Cardinal Suharyo and Nasaruddin have maintained a long-standing friendship.

Cardinal Suharyo visited Nasaruddin accompanied by Father Head of Jakarta Cathedral Church Romo Macarius Maharsono, SJ; and Public Relations of the Archdiocese of Jakarta and Cathedral Church, Susyana Suwadie. Meanwhile, Nasaruddin was accompanied by the Minister’s Special Staff for Communication and Information Management, A.M Adiyarto Sumardjono.
