Warm Eid al-Fitr Reunion Between Prabowo and Jokowi at the State Palace

President of the Republic of Indonesia’s 7th term, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), uploaded a moment of reunion with President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto after performing Eid al-Fitr prayers on Saturday (21/3). Jokowi performed Eid prayers at Masjid Jami’ Al-Bina, Gelora Bung Karno, together with his wife and youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep. Meanwhile, Prabowo performed Eid prayers at Masjid Darussalam, Aceh Tamiang. The two then took the time to meet at the State Palace and exchanged apologies. In the caption of his upload on X, Jokowi emphasised the Eid al-Fitr moment as an opportunity to return to one’s fitrah while strengthening togetherness.
