Warehouse razed by fire

JAKARTA: A warehouse belonging to PT Argo Pantes in the Jababeka industrial park in Cibitung, Bekasi regency, caught fire on Thursday evening and burned to the ground.

Ten fire trucks were deployed to extinguish the fire.

No fatalities have been reported in the incident, and material losses suffered in the blaze are yet to be estimated.

Eyewitness Heri said the fire started at the cotton warehouse located along the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

Police are investigating into the cause of the fire. -- Antara
