Warehouse in Cilincing, North Jakarta, Engulfed in Flames; 17 Fire Engines Deployed

A fire broke out in a building located in Cilincing, North Jakarta. Flames were seen raging inside a warehouse. The object on fire is a warehouse, said Gatot Sulaiman, Head of Operations for the North Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service, on Friday (24/7/2026). The fire was reported by residents through the Jakarta Siaga 112 call centre at 6.53 pm Western Indonesia Time. The warehouse is located on Jalan Kompleks Kawasan RT 01 RW 10, Rorotan Urban Village, Cilincing District. Firefighting operations commenced at 7.03 pm Western Indonesia Time. A total of 17 fire engines and 85 personnel were deployed to the scene. Officers have managed to control the spread of the flames. The firefighting effort is now in the cooling phase. Personnel are still spraying water and dismantling materials inside the warehouse to ensure the fire is completely extinguished. The chronology and cause of the fire are not yet known. Photos and videos received show large flames blazing.
