Wanted robber arrested

TEMANGGUNG, Central Java: The local police have arrested a man who has been on their wanted list for some time in connection with a series of thefts in the city.

The 34-year-old fugitive, identified only by his initials TB, was shot in the leg twice by arresting officers as he tried to fight his way out, according to Antara.

Police said he was linked to a number of robberies at electronics shops and cars. (emb)
