Want to Sell Gold Without a Receipt? Galeri 24's Gold Buyback Centre Opens in Depok

Galeri 24 has introduced a Gold Buyback Centre service at Margo City shopping centre in Depok, as an effort to facilitate the public who wish to resell gold bars and jewellery. The service was organised through an exhibition running from 2 to 14 March 2026 at Margo City Mall Depok, specifically in the area in front of Sports Station. Head of Commercial Division and Business Development at Galeri 24 Ihdina Inti Rachma said the service is designed to provide easier access for the public to conduct buyback transactions. She explained that the presence of the Gold Buyback Centre is part of Galeri 24’s efforts to bring gold services closer to the public. According to Ihdina, the public who own gold bars or jewellery can utilise the service to sell back more practically. In this service, Galeri 24 accepts gold bars and jewellery in various conditions. Moreover, old gold or gold that is a family heirloom can also be sold back through the service. Ihdina explained that the buyback price assessment is not solely determined by the physical condition of the gold. “Greater proximity provides a more practical, safe, and trusted transaction experience. The buyback price assessment is not based solely on the physical condition, but on the karat content contained in it,” Ihdina said. “In other words, even if the form of the gold is not perfect, its value is still calculated according to its karat content,” she explained. In the buyback transaction process, the gold is inspected directly at the service location. After the valuation process is completed and agreed by the customer, payment can be made on the same day.
