Want to Extend Your SIM A and C? Check 5 Mobile SIM Locations in Jakarta Today

The Traffic Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police has opened mobile driving licence (SIM) services in five areas of DKI Jakarta on Tuesday. The service, operating from 08.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB, is provided to make it easier for the public to extend the validity period of SIM A and SIM C licences.

As announced through the official X account of TMC Polda Metro Jaya, officers have deployed five mobile SIM service locations. Members of the public wishing to access this service must bring the required documents, including the original ID card (KTP) and the old SIM along with photocopies. Applicants are also required to fill in an application form and undergo a health check available at the service location.

This mobile SIM service specifically handles the extension of SIM A and SIM C licences that are still active. For owners whose SIM validity period has expired, applications for a new SIM must be submitted in person at the SIM Satpas in Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

Referring to Government Regulation (PP) Number 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), the renewal fee for this legal driving document is set at Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C.
