W. Java to host motorcycle races

JAKARTA: Racing organizer Trendypromo Mandira is organizing
four series of motorcycle road races in cooperation with the
Bandung-based Trendy Sport Club and West Java chapter of the
Indonesia Motorsports Association (IMI).

The first series of the 2001 Gudang Garam Motor Road Race will
take place at the 1,275-meter Boulevard Raya Circuit in Gading
Serpong Housing Complex in Tangerang, Banten on Oct. 13 to Oct.
14, followed by the second series in Depok, West Java or Taman
Mini Indonesia Indah in East Jakarta on Oct. 20 to Oct. 21.

The second series will also serve as the last for the national
championships.

The West Java city of Sumedang is slated to host the third
series on Nov. 3 to Nov. 4, while another West Java city,
Sukabumi, will host the final series a week later, on Nov. 10 to
Nov. 11.

Batavia Food City in Gading Serpong or at the organizer's office
